Positive stress is back again..
I felt really good today. It seems that I’m back and on top of things after the last 2-3 weeks which were really exciting and crazy. In fact I think they were a little bit too crazy...
But even though I had to get up around 6 today morning in order to be able to spent some time showering and to read through some slides for today’s quiz in Databases, I felt quite good during the day.
OK - to be honest, right now I feel a little bit tired and I still have to catch up with some sleep, but compared to the last days that is OK.

I've to correct myself. The next days are going to be very busy.
I just found out, that I have two tests this week, one on Thursday and one on Friday.
Next week I’m going to write 3 other tests. Two on Tuesday and one on Thursday, not counting “surprise tests” that I’m not aware of...
You know what that means: no free time, no fun, not hanging around with friends, no girls, no nothing - not even going to the movies..! :( By the way great movies out right now..
I’m praying for the day this hassle is going to end - but the final exams are still ahead..!
Polytechnic of Namibia - September 2003 Newsletter
Today in my Inbox: The Staff Newsletter of the Polytechnic.
Mbahupu H. Tjivikua (Hipi), the brother of the Rector, asked me a couple of days ago to write an article about my stay here.
So did I. The original version can be found here. They edited it, since my article was way too long, but the result turned out to be quite nice…

A rainy wekend!
And it started so nicely with a bbq on Friday. The steaks were great and we had a lot of fun.
Saturday was quiet a rainy day. I went to the Oktoberfest at the Windhoek Sports Club. But to be honest I was very dissapointed. The only good thing was that the beer was really cheap only N$ 7. I only stayed for two hours.
Sunday was more or less a day where I finally found some time to do some writing. I had to do some stuff for the SachsenWeb AG. Unfortunately the time was too short for me to be able to update the Journal. After that Madeleine came over and we had a nice evening together.
It seems that the comeing week is not going to be very busy. I might find the time to write some updates. So stay tuned!

My contribution to the Staff September Newsletter of the Polytechnic.
Mbahupu H. Tjivikua (Hipi), the brother of the Rector, asked me a couple of days ago to write an article about my stay here at the Polytechnic.
I wrote the article last Monday. But since the article is going to get published I asked Ms. Hill, my English lecturer, today to proofe read it.
Here is the outcome…

It was a busy week, last week..
...and an even busier or better crazy weekend. None of the things I planned to do over the weekend got done, instead I really experienced a weekend that I’ll probably never forget...
The last days and weeks were just great and amazing...
The only downside is that I barely have the time to write Journal entries or update pictures, which is even worse, because I think the number of pictures almost tripled during the last days.
For now I only manage to write a short itemized summery of every day, which doesn’t get published to the public section of this site.
I’m writing 3 tests this week, so please don’t expect large updates during the week. But be sure that to update my journal is one of the top things on my to-do list.

I'm leaving Windhoek...
.. for the weekend and I won’t be around a computer until next Monday.
Expect a Journal update for some time around next week. So stay tuned!
I wish everybody a nice weekend!
